AUTHENTIC MORTISE & TENON JOINERY
All of our timber frames are cut on our state of the art CNC machines in our 38,000 sq. ft. facility which allows us to offer the most authentic, precise, and complex mortise & tenon joinery available today.
LARGER TIMBERS
We use larger posts, tie beams, braces, and heavy timber rafters. Larger timbers connected with authentic mortise & tenon joinery create a stronger frame. We craft true post & beam cabins, from the timber sill all the way up to the peak of the heavy timber roof rafters.
BUILDERS, DESIGNERS, ENGINEERS
Designers, multi-state licensed structural engineers, and expert timber framing crews take your cabin from the foundation to the finishing touches. We can send out a raising supervisor to assist your local crew with the timber frame raising, or send our crew to raise the frame for you.

Our cabin series is meant to provide a retreat from everyday life, and this 10' x 16' Trapper’s Cabin in the hills of Tolland is no exception. With a 5' open lean-to porch, reclaimed barn board siding, and authentic timber framing, the versatility of this cabin is unmatched. The frame of this cabin was raised live during our 2023 Open House, and then brought to the job site where the roof and overhang were built. Let’s take a tour.
