The post and beam barn is perfectly situated on the property to take in the beautiful views of autumn in Vermont. This barn features a 12' open timber frame lean-to and a 19' transom dormer.

The expert timber framers at Great Country Timber Frames built one of the largest clear span timber frame structures in New England: a 70' Timber Frame Octagon for a 50' antique carousel at Sonny's Place in Somers, CT. Host Everett Skinner IV, P.E. tells the story of design, manufacturing, and construction as the massive structure is built on site by the Great Country Timber Frames crew.

Special thanks to our awesome customers in Burlington, CT for allowing us to fly a drone around their home & barn earlier this fall. We built this custom home & barn and the customers couldn't be happier with how everything came out. The home is 2,500 sq. ft. and the barn is a 24' x 36' Post & Beam Carriage Barn with 12' Lean-To.
