Yesterday, we raised a 26' x 28' Carriage Barn at our Ellington CT location. The post & beam barn will feature a structural ridge and transom dormer. It was a great day to raise a frame, with lots of sunshine & blue sky.

Almost 400 people from all over New England, plus New York, New Jersey, and even as far away as Colorado and Canada, came to the third annual Open House at Great Country Timber Frames in Ellington, CT on January 20^th.

Our Open House is fast approaching. As we count down the days in anticipation, we can't wait to share our passion for timber framing with you. We thought we'd compile some of the most interesting photos of our timber frame facility & recent projects as a sort of "appetizer" if you will for the big event on January 20, 2018.

This timber frame kit consists of Eastern White Pine timbers with Douglas Fir key beams and Oak pegs. It's as authentic as you get: complex timber frame joinery, classic design, and fit-like-a-glove construction thanks to being precisely crafted on our CNC machine. This frame, along with our Saratoga frame, is available for shipping nationwide.
