Over 300 people visited the manufacturing & design facility at Great Country Timber Frames in Ellington on Saturday, January 21, for the company's annual educational open house event.

The Barn Yard's Fall Fest, held at the company's Ellington location on Saturday, October 15, was a fun and educational event for a large crowd this year. The main attraction was a demonstration of The Barn Yard's new remote-controlled shed delivery machine known as the "Mule," which is the first of its kind in Connecticut.

Join us on Saturday, October 15 from 11am - 2pm at our Ellington Showcase Location for our annual Fall Fest. We're going to be demonstrating our new remote-controlled shed delivery machine (called the "Mule"). Also enjoy free pumpkins, apple cider, and hot dogs.

The results are in for the 2016 North Central News Readers Poll and The Barn Yard is excited to announce wins in two categories: Best Place to Buy a Shed or Garage and Best Family Business.

Lucas moved his family of 6 from the flat lands of Illinois to the hills of CT to work for The Barn Yard. He utilizes his background in construction to educate the customer about what to look for and ensure their confidence when it comes time to make a purchase.

The general public is invited to watch a barn raising in Tolland, CT on Saturday, May 14. The Barn Yard will be raising the timber frame for a post and beam Carriage Barn garage.
