This year’s Big E Display has two cabins that are different, yet ideal for any situation. We are once again collaborating with Earthlight Technologies to create an Off-Grid Solar Cabin, combining our 14' x 22' Grand Victorian Cape Shed with a timber frame overhang and their Solar Package. We also have our all-new post & beam A-Frame Cabin on display, with authentic timber frame construction, interior finishes, electric, LED lights, heat, A/C, and more. Off-Grid Solar Cabin

We are partnering with Earthlight Technologies again this year on a unique off-the-grid solar cabin. This cabin is composed of a Solar Panel Package from Earthlight Technologies, and a 14' x 22' Grand Victorian Cape Shed with a timber frame overhang from The Barn Yard. This Grand Victorian has a 6' insulated slider door, 9' walls, and a 6' x 14' loft. Enjoy the cabin year-round with spray foam insulated floor and walls, and high-end finishes like luxury vinyl floors and LP interior walls make this cabin feel like home. The solar package gives this cabin its off-the-grid capability, powering the electrical chandelier & recessed cans, outside light fixtures, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, and ductless split for heat & A/C. This Off-Grid Solar Cabin is available at the special package price of $104,999 until September 28, 2025.

A-Frame Cabin

The A-Frame Cabin is the newest addition to the post & beam cabin series, and our first cabin model available fully built nationwide. There is a 12' x 18' A-Frame Cabin on display at The Big E this year. This cabin is the complete package, with authentic post & beam construction, tongue & groove flooring with stain & poly, an 18" covered porch, Thermory Ignite siding, corrugated metal roofing, a 7' shed dormer, 2.5" ZIP-R insulation, Andersen series windows & door, built in cabinets, an extensive electrical system, heat, A/C, and interior staining. You won’t want to miss it. The 12' x 18' A-Frame Cabin is specially priced at $59,990 thorugh September 28, 2025.

54' x 48' Hamilton Carriage Barn, Clinton, CT

A Classic Red New England Carriage Barn

There is something truly special about a red Carriage Barn in New England. Between the detailed craftsmanship & iconic silhouette of the post & beam Carriage Barn, to the striking color of the barn’s pine siding against nature’s blues and greens, the barn is a sight to behold. This is a 54' x 48' Hamilton Carriage Barn, with two enclosed lean-tos. Three overhead doors, plus the loft door on the second floor, have all been painted red to match the barn’s siding. A Spanish cedar entry door, with a timber frame eyebrow roof overhead, leads the way inside to an incredible interior. Intricate design and joinery are found throughout the inside of the barn, currently used to keep cars, bikes, lawn equipment, and more.
