After working all the way until nightfall yesterday and starting again before dawn this morning, the crew has raised the Saratoga Horse Barn Timber Frame! It was a monumental feat but they were up to the challenge. The post and beam barn measures in at 36' x 48' and is located in Sutton, MA.

It's going well here in Sutton, MA, where The Barn Yard crew is raising a 36' x 48' post and beam center aisle horse barn (the Saratoga). We have blue sky & sunshine and the crew is working full throttle. They are quick & efficient yet careful & precise all at the same time.

The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages is raising a 36' x 48' Post & Beam Saratoga Horse Barn today in Sutton, MA. The first step is to assemble the main carrying beams of the 4-bay hemlock timber frame. After that, the crane helps lift the beams into place, and they are secured with oak pegs.

Winter is fast approaching and the crew at The Barn Yard is not ready to slow down anytime soon. It will be a busy winter season as the crew continues to build custom barns and garages all throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. On the list are post and beam barns, hybrid timber framed garages, conventionally framed buildings, and commercial projects.

BETHEL CT - The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages announces the winner of its tractor giveaway. Bill R. of New Milford, CT is the winner of a new John Deere D105 Riding Lawnmower Tractor. Bill purchased a 10' x 12' Classic Cape shed from The Barn Yard at the Big E in September. The shed and lawn tractor were delivered today.

Yesterday, The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages raised a 22' x 40' Post and Beam Carriage Barn with 10' Lean-To in Haddam, CT. The barn will be used as a workshop and barn for snowmobiles, ATVs, and other outdoor toys. As a workshop, the barn will inspire with its timeless beauty. As an outdoor vehicle building, the barn has enormous potential. Built to last by the builders of the industry's strongest post and beam barns.

Customized to suit the homeowner's purpose, this 22' x 32' Post and Beam Carriage Barn with 10' Lean-To was built in Columbia, CT. The customer started with our display model Carriage Barn and customized to accommodate a tractor, as well as changed the types of windows and doors, to make the barn a pool house.

It's post and beam season here at The Barn Yard in Connecticut! We're raising quite a few post and beam barns throughout New England this time of year. This particular barn was built in Goshen, CT by our pro builders based out of Bethel, CT. It will be used as a retail organic garden and fruit barn.
