Tune in to CPTV this Thursday, May 19, at 8pm for CPTV's 2nd Made in Connecticut documentary, when The Barn Yard's sister company, Great Country Timber Frames, will be featured.

The general public is invited to watch a barn raising in Tolland, CT on Saturday, May 14. The Barn Yard will be raising the timber frame for a post and beam Carriage Barn garage.

The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages raised this post & beam barn in Union, CT. You can see by the time lapse video that raising the timber frame only took one day, and the rest of the barn was finished & ready to use in about one week.

Our sister company, Great Country Timber Frames, was approached by CPTV (PBS) to be featured on their Made in Connecticut TV Series. CPTV came to Great Country Timber Frames' Ellington, CT facility to interview key team members and capture the CNC machine in action. The camera crew also came to a raising day in Ridgefield, CT.

The Barn Yard recently built this 30' x 50' Timber Frame Pavilion on the West Side Campus of Western Connecticut State University. Elements of powder-coated steel are used together with precise wood joinery to connect the timbers on the impressive pavilion.
